The Importance of Baptism

One of the ways that Jesus asked his followers to participate in remembering His death and resurrection is through baptism. Baptism symbolizes and demonstrates our foundation of faith.

Baptism Does Not Make Us a Believer

Baptism shows that we already believe, it does not save us. Only our faith in Christ can give us salvation. Baptism is like a wedding ring: it's the outward symbol of the commitment we have made in our heart.

Colossians 2:12: "...and you were buried with Him in baptism, in which you were also raised with Him through faith..."
